Police seize BB gun
Week of October 11 - October 17.
New Hazelton RCMP responded to a total of 80 calls during this week.
October 12, a male attended a house in Gitsegukla during the early morning hours. The male assaulted a resident a fled prior to police arrival. The suspect subsequently turned themselves in on several warrants.
October 13, an intoxicated male was reportedly fighting at a party in Hagwilget. The male was found nearby and arrested for public intoxication.
October 13, a vehicle was stopped on the Kispiox Valley Rd. The driver provided breath samples to a roadside screening device and was subsequenly issued an alcohol driving prohibition and the vehicle was towed.
October 14, a male was found hitch hiking along Hwy 16 near Hwy 37. Checks revealed an outstanding warrant of arrest. The male struggled with police during the arrest and a BB gun was seized from his person.
October 15, a commercial break and enter was reported at a tow yard in Two Mile. Several hundred dollars worth of tools were stolen. Police are seeking suspects
