Intoxicated youth taken to hospital
The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 116 calls for service from September 28 at 8:00 AM to October 1 at 8:00 AM. 26 people were arrested for public intoxication and lodged in Terrace cells.
There were 4 false alarms and 4 abandoned 911 calls.
Following is a summary of some of the calls for service that police attended:
Four intoxicated people were panhandling in front of Shoppers Drug Mart. Patrols were made but subjects were gone.
An intoxicated female was arrested for causing a disturbance on Greig Ave.
Six heavily intoxicated males were arrested for being intoxicated in a public place. They were lodged in Terrace cells and released when sober.
An incoherent male was arrested for public intoxication and transported to hospital for treatment of an infected wound.
An intoxicated male was ejected from a hotel on Lakelse St but refused to leave. Police arrested the male for public intoxication and lodged him in cells.
Police attended McDonalds for an unruly male who was trying to scam more food than what he had paid for.
Police attended a restaurant on Lakelse Ave for an intoxicated male who was passed-out at a table. The male was arrested for public intoxication and lodged in cells until sober.
Police assisted the ambulance with an emotionally disturbed and intoxicated male who went to the hospital for care.

At the owners request, four intoxicated people were removed by police from a residence on Ackroyd St.
Report of two males fighting on Park Ave. Patrols were made but males not located.
A male was arrested near Railway St for breaching his conditions.
Police investigated a domestic dispute which occurred on Lakelse Ave.
A male passed-out on Kerr St was arrested for public intoxication.
A female was arrested in Library Park for public intoxication.
An intoxicated male was arrested on Loen Ave for causing a disturbance.
A female was arrested outside a nightclub for breaching conditions of her probation.
Police attended a fight on Haugland Ave. One male was arrested.
Ambulance requested police assistance with a group of intoxicated youths. Two were transported to hospital by ambulance and two were arrested and lodged in Terrace cells.
Police attended a disturbance on Pear St. A male and a female were arrested for public intoxication.
Two males on Kalum St were arrested for public intoxication and lodged in Terrace cells.
Police assisted the Ambulance in answering a medical distress call from an elderly male.
A female was arrested on the Sande overpass for pubic intoxication and lodged in cells.
A male was found passed-out on a bench on Lakelse Ave. He was arrested for public intoxication and lodged in cells.
It was reported that an intoxicated male had fallen over a guardrail on Lakelse Ave. Police attended and arrested the male for public intoxication.
Police attended a fight in the front yard of a Scott Ave residence. A male was escorted from the property.
Police attended a residence on Walsh Ave for two heavily intoxicated females who were trying to get into the residence and the car, mistakenly thinking it was theirs. The two females were arrested for publicintoxication and lodged in cells.
Police attended a loud music complaint twice, issuing a $100 bylaw ticket on the second visit.
A female reported to police that she had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend at a residence on Tuck Ave. Police are investigating.
Police attended an address on Davis Ave for a disturbance. An intoxicated female was located, passed-out, in a residence and unable to care for the children there. Social services attended to care for the children at which time the intoxicated female became agitated and lost control. The female was arrested for breach of the peace and later released.
Two teenage females were reported missing by their guardian. The two females were located by police and reported that the only reason they had not gone home was they wanted to spend more time with their friends.
A 28 year-old male was reported missing by his girlfriend. Attempts to locate him were negative. The male came home on his own in the morning.
Police assisted the ambulance with a male who was having a medical emergency and becoming violent.

Kitsumkalum, Kulspai, Gitaus
Police arrested an intoxicated male who crashed a wedding party and caused a disturbance at Kitsumkalum hall. The male was lodged in cells.
Police attended a residence on Gitaus for a domestic disturbance. A male was arrested for assault and lodged in Terrace cells. Under investigation.
Police shut down an out-of-control party on Kulspai Cres.
Early Monday morning a rockslide was reported on Hwy 16 approximately 16 km west of Terrace. The slide partially blocked a 20 meter section of the highway. Highways maintenance attended and cleared the debris.
