Police investigate possible abduction
THREE PEOPLE face charges after a person was allegedly abducted earlier today.
Witnesses reported seeing a person being placed in the trunk of a small white car in the 4700 block of Davis Ave. at about 11:45 a.m., said Terrace RCMP in a release this afternoon.
An 18-year-old woman and three men in their 20s were all taken into custody, after officers found the vehicle on Hwy16, approximately 10 kilometers west of Terrace, said police.
The female driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was issued a 90 day immediate roadside prohibition, while the three men are all facing charges for breaching court ordered conditions, said police.
The alleged victim was located at a residence unharmed but he is not co-operating with officers at this time, reported police.
Police continue to investigate.
