Fire truck gets the heave ho
THERE'S GOING to be a lot of activity on Emerson St. in downtown Terrace today when the United Way stages its fire truck pull.
At last count, 10 teams have signed up in the effort to claim top place for pulling a fire truck.
Terrace mayor Dave Pernarowski and Skeena MLA Robin Austin will be judges for the event.
And judging by the forecast, it's going to be a perfect day for weather.
The event begins at 11 am.
