Man arrested for car break ins

Here is a summary of events responded to by Terrace RCMP from 8 a.m. July 24 to 8 a.m. July 25.

Downtown Terrace

- A male was arrested for theft after he was caught stealing items from unattended vehicles on Greig Ave. Charges forwarded to Crown.

- A male who was found passed-out on the sidewalk on Lazelle Ave was arrested for public intoxication and lodged in Terrace RCMP cells.

Elsewhere in Terrace

- Police assisted EHS with a suicidal female who was taken to hospital for observation.

- A male was found lying down on the sidewalk on Pear St. He was arrested for public intoxication and lodged in Terrace RCMP cells.

- Police attended a motor vehicle collision where one vehicle rear-ended another on Lakelse Ave.

- Police attended a Scott Ave residence for a suicidal female and escorted her to the hospital for observation.

- An intoxicated male, who was staggering on the roadway on Feeney Ave, was arrested for public intoxication and lodged in Terrace RCMP cells.

- Police are investigating a complaint by a female who has been receiving harassing phone calls from an ex-boyfriend for almost a year.

- A stolen motor-home, which was for sale and left on display in a parking lot on Kalum St., was recovered by the owner at the side of the road on Hwy 16 near Kitwanga.

Thornhill

- Police assisted the Thornhill Fire Department with a structure fire on Queensway Ave. There were no injuries.

Kitsumkalum, Kulspai, Gitaus

- Police attended a Kitsumkalum residence for a report of one female hitting and scratching another female. Under investigation.

Rural

- Nothing to report.
