Terrace bans fires, too

THE CITY of Terrace has banned open fires within its boundaries.

The ban went into effect today as the sunny weather continues to dominate.

Prohibited is the burning of waste or other material and stubble or grass. Also banned is the use of burning barrels.

Campers at city campgrounds can still have fires and those who do so should have water or hand tools available to properly extinguish a blaze.
