Purse stolen from shopping cart
HERE THE incidents requiring the presence of Terrace RCMP officers for the 24-hour period ending 8 am, July 4.
Downtown Terrace
- purse stolen from a shopping cart at Safeway. Purse is yellow with a brown flowered wallet and a red card-holder.
- intoxicated male sitting on Atwood St. Arrested for public intoxication.
- intoxicated male at bus-stop on Lakelse Ave. Arrested for public intoxication.
Elsewhere in Terrace
- vandalism to a truck on Medeek Ave
- a life-jacket found on Birch Hill Ave.
- an incident of negligent driving on Park Ave.
- male found lying on the ground on Park Ave. Arrested for public intoxication.
- male found sleeping on the ground on Hall St. Arrested for public intoxication.
Thornhill
- a wallet was found and turned in at the detachment. Wallet was returned to owner.
- report of a male with a shovel chasing another male. No assault occurred. Male with shovel spoken to by police.
- a woman was arrested for being Unlawfully in a Dwelling House.
- a suicidal male was apprehended under the Mental Health Act and taken to Mills Memorial Hospital.
