Terrace RCMP officers block off street

TERRACE RCMP officers this morning have blocked access to the 4600 block of Scott in the horseshoe area.

As many as eight police vehicles are at the location.

A new arrival on the scene is the RCMP's large blue incident command van.

There are also reports of officers in the area from the RCMP's emergency response team.

Officers are either standing in small groups or knocking on the doors of residences on either side of the block.

For now, officers seem to be concentrating on a small single storey home on the north side of the blocks.

Residents making inquiries were told to stay inside.

The location is barely half a block from the Suwilaawks Community School on Sparks.
