Two youths arrested for 'yellow house' blaze
TWO YOUNG people are believed responsible for the blaze that police and firefighters deemed suspicious at the Little Yellow House along Hwy 16 this morning.
Police and firefighters responded to the fire early this morning, said Terrace RCMP late this afternoon.
Patrols of the area came upon two youths, who were lighting a fire in a carport on Haugland Ave.., said police.
Both subjects were arrested, and evidence found indicated they were responsible for the yellow house fire, along with numerous thefts from vehicles, said police.
One youth is being remanded in custody for court on Dec. 19, with numerous recommended charges, said police.
The other youth, who is too young to face criminal charges, was turned over to the Ministry of Children and Family Development, continued police.
The investigation continues.
