Shoplifter, 11 years old, nabbed

HERE are the incidents from 8 am Nov. 2 to 8 am Nov. 3 requiring the presence of Terrace RCMP officers.

Downtown Terrace

- Safeway had a window smashed sometime between Nov1, 10 PM and Nov. 2, 6 AM.

- an 11 yr old boy was caught shoplifting at Safeway. The boy was detained till police arrived. The boy threatened to get a gun and shoot the detainee. The boy cannot be held criminally responsible due to his age. He was turned over to another agency.

- female was arrested for public intoxication on Greig Ave

Elsewhere Terrace

- police investigated an alleged complaint of assault on an 11 yr old boy at an address on DeJong Cr. The complaint was unfounded.

- a dog was struck on Walsh Ave. The owner of the dog dealt with the incident.

- suspicious people on Davis Ave. Checks of the area were done. It appears that two people were stuffing flyers under doors.

- man was arrested for public intoxication on McConnell Ave

- barricade on Frank St and Hwy 16, it was moved out of the way

Rural

- missing person, he was located shortly after

- police assisted with an estate matter

Kitsumkalum

- possible impaired driver. Other agencies were notified.
