Erratic driver has vehicle impounded

Over the past 24 hours these are some of the events responded to by the Terrace RCMP:

Downtown Terrace

- erratic driver, high rate of speed

Elsewhere in Terrace

- police investigated 3 erratic driver complaints

- police investigated a suspicious persons complaint

- a wallet was turned in. It was found in Cassie Hall school field

- a bear on Sparks St was causing problems. It was eating corn

- an abandoned vehicle on Davies Ave was towed

- 2 false alarms

Thornhill

- theft of money. The young offender was spoken with.

- false 911 call

- horses on Queensway Dr. The owners were advised their horses were out.

Kitsumkalum, Kitselas, Gitaus

nothing to report

Rural

- windows were smashed out at a cabin at Lakelse Lake

- erratic driver at Lakelse Ave and Clinton St

- complaint received of ATV driving on private property in Jackpine

- a driver traveling at a high rate of speed was pulled over near the airport. He was discovered to not have a current driver’s licence. A violation ticket was issued and his vehicle was impounded
