Police seek thieves, pickup

POLICE ARE asking for the public's help with several thefts and to find a pickup truck.

Thieves stole, and destroyed, items from inside two unlocked vehicles and stole a wallet after using a remote to unlock a vehicle in a garage in the area of the 4900 block of Lambly Ave. and the 3800 block of Rowland St. during the night of July 3 and 4, reported police July 22.

People are reminded to lock their vehicles when parked.

On July 5 in the later afternoon, a red single cab Chevrolet low rider pickup with Alberta licence plates was involved in an incident along Hwy 37 between Terrace and Kitimat.

Anyone with information about any of these matters is asked to call the Terrace RCMP detachment at 638-7400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
