All candidates meeting set
VOTERS HAVE the opportunity to meet and to question the people running to represent the Skeena - Bulkley riding in the May 2 federal election at an April 20 all candidates meeting.
It takes place at the REM Lee Theatre beginning at 7 pm.
Northwest Community College president Denise Henning is the moderator and there will be a media panel from The Terrace Standard, Astral Media and CFNR.
Incumbent New Democrat Nathan Cullen is facing a challenge from Conservative Clay Harmon, Christian Heritage Party candidate Rod Taylor and Green candidate Roger Benham. At press time, a Liberal candidate had yet to be named.
The all candidates meeting is organized by The Terrace Standard with the generous assistance of the Terrace and District Chamber of Commerce, Terrace Toastmasters, the Skeena Valley Rotary Club and the REM Lee Theatre.
Audience questions can either be in written format or presented orally.
