Terrace girl featured on key tags

War Amp key tags protect any keys, not just car keys.

As The War Amps 2012 key tags go out across BC, local residents may spot a familiar face on the enclosed Key Tag brochure.

Brooklynn Stanvick, 6, of Terrace, is featured on The War Amps key tag brochure in the mailing to BC households starting this week.

Brooklynn, a right leg amputee, is a member of The War Amps Child Amputee (CHAMP) Program and, as such, is eligible to receive financial assistance with artificial limbs, counselling and attend regional CHAMP seminars.

Public support of The War Amps Key Tag Service allows child amputees across Canada to continue to grow up with CHAMP.  Key tags protect any keys, not just car keys.

Since 1946, The War Amps has returned more than one million sets of keys, and the service is more vital than ever, with the extremely high replacement cost of keys and remote devices.

The War Amps does not receive government grants. For more information, or to order key tags, call toll-free 1 800 250-3030 or visit waramps.ca.
