COOK'S JEWELLERS in Terrace has presented a $1,687.50 cheque to Major Rosa Moulton of the Salvation Army in support of its many activities to help those less fortunate.

The money was raised this past Christmas through the selling of Christmas snowflake collectables.

All of the proceeds go to the Salvation Army,” said Marielle Petitpas from Cook's Jewellers in Terrace.

This is the 11th year Cook's Jewellers has sold Christmas ornaments.

For the first 10 years it sold Christmas angels and that collection has now run its course.

We'll be continuing on with snowflakes,” said Petitipas.

Cook's Jewellers outlets in Kitimat and in Prince Rupert mount similar Christmas-based campaigns.
