This weekend is the local Rotary Auction, the 54th one to be held in the community.
Items were being collected in a spare space at the Skeena Mall before being taken to the auction site itself which is the banquet room at the Sportsplex.
As of late last week, approximately 400 items had been gathered in with a value in the $70,000 range.
The auction proper begins at 6 p.m. on Nov. 1 and continues the next day.
Bidding prior to the start is allowed and can be done online beginning at 5 p.m. on Nov. 1.
