Recently, community giving coordinator for the local branch of the Canadian Cancer Society Lori Neid picked up a cheque from Azorcan Collision's Mike Praticante.

The Relay for Life is scheduled for May 12 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Skeena Junior Secondary School track.

Individual and team fundraising is also underway with the website listing the top five singles and teams who have already accumulated the most donations.

The website already indicates more than $19,000 has been given to the cause.
