Const. Crystal Evelyn and Susanne Mikalishen show off the quilt Mikalishen made for the police officers here.

Mountie quilt gifted to Terrace RCMP

Susanne Mikalishen saw a quilt pattern with a Mountie on it and thought of the RCMP here

Susanne Mikalishen of Susie’s Quilting and Sewing presented the Terrace RCMP with a quilt she made in appreciation of police services.

She said she came across the Mountie pattern and thought the members might like to have the hanging blanket in the detachment.

“In our day-to-day policing, officers can take a lot of verbal and even physical abuse,” said Const. Crystal Evelyn, community policing / media relations Terrace RCMP.

“Susie’s gesture helps serve as a reminder of all the people who do care about and support us.”
