Lindsay Mellor has been Music Director of the Fraser Valley Symphony since 2000.
Her violin studies at university launched her into the world of conducting, from which she has not looked
back.
Ms. Mellor has guest conducted the Prince George Symphony, the West Coast Symphony, and the Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra, and was Artistic Director of the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra and Chorus from 2002 to 2008.
In addition, she is an active guest speaker, clinician, and adjudicator.
She currently teaches in the New Westminster School District, specializing in Orff Music.
Lindsay and her husband share their home with their beautiful five-year old daughter, a cat, and 16 timpani.
