ABORIGINAL DAY added several new things to the program this year, one of which was acknowledging the Head Start classes of 2011.

Kitselas Head Start and Kermode Head Start classes marched to the stage at George Little Park to line up for photographs and to listen to several speakers talk about them and the program.

They were escorted to the stage by the Suwilaawks Community School Multi-cultural Drum Group and then were drummed off the stage to a place on the grass where they danced in a circle and sang.

Head Start students and the members of the drum group were all decked out in their regalia for the celebration.
