Northwest Community College has celebrated its grad class of 2011 with convocation ceremonies in Prince Rupert, Smithers and Terrace this week.

The 23rd annual convocation ceremony in Terrace took place at the REM Lee Theatre May 20, honouring those students who attended NWCC in Kitimat and/or Terrace.

The theatre was filled with friends and family members of the grads, all joining in to note the achievements of those who successfully completed their courses.

NWCC offers a full range of courses and programs.

Just recently, its Smithers-based mining and exploration school was recognized for its achievement in preparing northwestern residents for employment in the growing exploration and mining industry.
