Ford helps Terrace community groups

The first of three events takes place today at Terrace's Sportsplex

Terrace Totem Ford is helping three community groups by providing $20 to everyone who test drives a vehicle.

The first of the Drive 4 UR Community events takes place today at Terrace's Sportsplex where the money from the test drives will support the upcoming Caledonia Secondary School Dry Grad evening.

To date Terrace Totem Ford has hosted seven test drive events, raising more than $20,700 for community groups.

On June 7 it will be the turn of Scouts Canada and on June 28, the Shamrock 4-H club.

"Terrace Totem Ford believes strongly in giving back to the community in which we operate and live in, and partnering with local schools and organizations to host Drive 4UR Community or school events is one of many ways we show our support for the community,” says Howard Tsang, Terrace Totem Ford's marketing director.

Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household.

The event today begins at 11 a.m.
