First diversity health fair opens tonight

THE FIRST Diversity Health Fair kicks off tonight with a panel of local health experts talking about their fields, accessing health services and answering questions at the Evangelical Free Church starting at 7 p.m.

THE FIRST Diversity Health Fair kicks off tonight with a panel of local health experts talking about their fields, accessing health services and answering questions at the Evangelical Free Church starting at 7 p.m.

Panelists include Dr. Davis Lindsay with Spinal Fit Rehabilitation, Vanessa Williams with the BC Access Centre, Roger Carling-Kelly registered massage therapist, Lise Luppens dietitian with Northern Health and Noreen Spence with the BC Schizophrenia Society.

The free health fair takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday June 18 in the former Northern Drugs location at the Skeena Mall.

There will be more than 30 exhibitor booths, a family corner, food demonstrations and exercise and dance demonstrations.

Everyone is welcome to attend both events.
