The event “Bringing History to Life” is set to take place May 6 in George Little Park.
The event will begin at the Spirit Square with an opening ceremony and welcome from dignitaries.
From 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. there will be guided tours and outdoor activities such as an interpretive eco-heritage hike and a guided tour of the Kitsumgallum Pioneer Cemetery.
A bag lunch will be provided although attendees are asked to bring their own bottles of water.
The afternoon will kick off with more outdoor events and activities.
At 3 p.m. there will be a maypole dance with entertainment at the George Little Park.
There will be an awards ceremony followed by a hot dinner served between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.
The Terrace Art Gallery will be open for the viewing of student projects from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
