Centennial Christian students raise more than $3,000

CENTENNIAL CHRISTIAN students raised $3,011 at their Jump Rope for Heart event May 15.

About 80 students from kindergarten to Grade 7 had collected pledges and spent the afternoon going through a variety of jumping and skipping activities.

“The purpose of the event is to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation and to encourage heart healthy lifestyles,” said teacher Gord Buxton.
