Suwilaawks Community School will receive $15,000 in seed funding to support its after school program for the 2014/2015 school year from Terrace RBC.
RBC has been funding after school programs since 1999, with close to $30 million given to community based after school programs across Canada.
The selection process for these grants is very competitive; in 2014, 33 applications were received in BC and only two programs were selected as RBC After School Project grant recipients.
