GIRLS WHO are graduating high school this year got an early start on celebrating at the grad tea held for them by the Royal Purple at Elks Hall yesterday, Aprli 20.
About 27 girls came out to enjoy tea and goodies and picked up some items donated by local businesses for them. Everyone leaves with something and, since there were extra items, some girls left with more than one.
The tea is an annual event put on by Royal Purple, who are a women'e group affiliated with the Elks and do a variety of things for the community.
