LOCAL ARTISTS are once again painting the fire hydrants on Lakelse Ave. and Lazelle Ave. to spruce up the area.

Matthew Daratha organized the project that saw the fresh coat of paint added last week by a group of volunteers.

In the past, the Terrace Beautification Society would add colour to the fire hydrants but over the years,  it became a larger project than the society could keep up with.

Artists have been doing the extra artistry for the past few years.
