SIXTY-EIGHT teens came out to the Royal Purple Grad Tea for a piece of a celebratory cake, tea and door prizes at Elks Hall yesterday, May 2.

The 12th annual event saw the hall filled with the most Grade 12 grads ever at a tea, said Royal Purple chairperson for the Grad Tea, Alison Martel.

They received door prizes donated by local businesses, including flowers, to acknowledge their high school graduation and wish them well with their future endeavours, and to introduce them to the Royal Purple, a charitable and service organization that has done a variety of work in the community here for 50 years.
