Culture Days events fun for all

COME TAKE part in Culture Days, a pan-Canadian celebration of art, culture and creativity, at free events organized by Skeena Diversity Society this weekend.

The Repainting of the Fire Hydrants in the downtown will go Sept. 30 to Oct. 2. Maps of times and locations available at Skeena  Diversity, George Little House, Skeena Mall, Terrace Art Gallery.

Bad Poetry Night is at 6 p.m. Sept. 30 with a potluck dinner at Skeena Diversity Centre. Hear the best of the worst spontaneously creative nitwits.

Terrace Medley Night Market wrapup show is at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 1 at the farmers market stage. It’s a cultural show for the community with performers from the night markets that includes audience participation and the chance to provide feedback.

Amazing Human Race is at 2 p.m. Oct. 1 in various places. Groups of two to four take up the challenge of tasks to explore the culture here. Dress warmly and bring a camera.
