The dinner to raise money for the All Nations Centre expansion has been pushed back.

Originally scheduled at Northwest Community College for June 5, the dinner and silent auction will take place June 19 instead.

Among the items hoped to bring in some money is a Canucks jersey signed by player Kevin Bieksa.

The money will go toward expanding the building on the corner of Sparks St. and Davis Ave. to make room for a walk in freezer, showers and laundry services, estimated to cost around $10,000 to $15,000.

Programs like a Sunday soup kitchen and a day centre that provides food, a community feeling, and networks to services run out of the All Nations Centre. The extension would improve the programs, which serve around 100 patrons per day.

The fundraising dinner and silent auction begins at 6 p.m. June 19, and tickets should be purchased beforehand.
