McDonald's on Lakelse Ave. is getting ready for extensive renovations in the next few months. says owner Shauna Leblanc.
“We are hoping to do entire renovations inside and out,” said Leblanc.
She estimated work will begin sometime in May and take around six weeks to compete.
The outside of the restaurant will be getting all new signage and a new roof, Leblanc said.
The inside will be redesigned with new tables, chairs and the addition of a fire place.
Leblanc plans to carry out the work in a two-part process, keeping either the restaurant or the drive through open at all times with the exception of four – five days when the restaurant will be completely closed.
Electricians worked on repairing the location's sign this morning, as the sign has worked on and off in the past and is the first step in the new changes.
