Trevor Linden to appear in Terrace

The City of Terrace is pleased to announce the keynote speaker lineup for the 25th Annual Minerals North Conference in 2013.

Andrew Bell, the host of commodities, Business Day PM, and The Pitch, two of the most- watched shows on Business News Network, will lead off the conference on Day 2. Andrew delivers the hard truth about investing, often using mordant humour and delicious irony to make his points and will be sure to talk about the mining projects here in Northwest British Columbia.

Trevor Linden, former NHL All-Star, Olympian, and one of the most adored and respected hockey players of all time, will be presenting to delegates on Day 3. Trevor Linden will be speaking about community and leadership to the industry as many companies continue to engage communities on their projects.

“We are very excited to host Andrew Bell and Trevor Linden at Minerals North 2013,” said Committee Chair Rob Dykman, “Andrew’s insight on mining projects and companies in the region will be fascinating and also look forward to a truly inspirational speech from Trevor Linden.”

The conference is expected to bring in more than 600 delegates to Terrace, including a full trade show, site visits and a lineup of industry speakers who will provide key insights into the current state of the mining industry and what the future holds.
